We own a 2 bedroom unit in the main street of Big White ski resort. 100% ski in⁄out with the front door just beside the ski lift.
Big White is one of the world’s greatest family ski resorts with some of the best powder and longest runs in the North American and Canadian region. Unlike Whistler, Big White is not affected by the coasts warmer temperatures and so the snow is FANTASTIC for the whole season.
Our unit is a 2 bedroom, 2 Bathroom with Kitchen and Lounge Dining. The complex is at the top of the main street and includes an undercover secure car park for 1 or 2 cars.
The body corp fees are set so you have NOTHING to pay outside of the fees. All insurances, repairs, cleaning etc is all covered. There is the usual drying room, SPA and an unreal restaurant as part of the complex.
The unit is structured as 2 units but is rented as 1 by the central reservations. They look after your rentals when you are not there. You do nothing but take the money at the end of each season.
We paid around CA$300k back in 2004 and will take almost ½ that. A$179,000 We will need to do the deal in CA$ on the day but just agree on the exchange rate. We are selling because we purchased another unit on the mountain and need the cash urgently to pay it off.
